Slinky's Located at the North Gates of LSU this is a cool little dive bar. It has a few tables and a bar with around a dozen stools, pool tables and the walls and ceiling display years of bar memorabilia all with some great story.

Their bar offerings are over 130 imported beers available and a very nice selection of liquor. They also feature a drink called the "Lunch Box" which resembles more of a shot. It's very popular with their regulars.

Unique in Baton Rouge Slinky's also hosts a beer tasting party on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. The beers tasted are a stunning variety of specialty styles and brands from around the world. You'll get to experience brews you've never seen or heard of before.
