Charlie's coffee is a locally owned chain of comfortable and very nice coffee houses. They feature espresso, coffee and some blended drinks. They've also got good lunch sandwiches and breakfast food.I love Charlie's because unlike CC's and Starbucks which have drive through windows you can relax a little in Charlie's. Drive through coffee shops are the new thing for big shops and make it impossible to really relax and read or study in them. They've got comfortable booth's lining the walls of the shop for people to enjoy. The shop decor is very artistic and includes a huge salt water fish tank lining the ceiling. Truly cool. Charlie's has my vote as one of the best Baton Rouge coffee shops. Its certainly the best in my area which is near South Sherwood Forest and Coursey.
