Held In New Roads, Oldest Mardi Gras Parade Outside New Orleans 
Louisiana's oldest Mardi Gras parade outside New Orleans. Theme is "A World of Cultures: Together We Make One." Lineup: 30 freshly built floats, six bands and several drill units. Throws include metallic beads and small toys. Travels New Roads, Main, St. Mary, First, Poydras and Parent Streets. King and Queen unmask during parade when their float reaches reviewing stand at corner of New Roads and Parent Streets. Midway rides on New Roads Street.
