Sorrento Lions Club Boucherie Festival

Every October the town of Sorrento puts on their annual Boucherie festival. There's a Cracklin cooking contest, a jambalaya cook off, a parade, live music, rides, crafts, a beauty pageant and more for 3 days. A great time or the family and convenient to get to. Just drive South on Airline highway from Baton Rouge until you get to Sorrento.

Check out their website. leading up to the event they'll post an events listing, band schedule and other relevant information for those wanting to participate in the festival. The festival is held in the Fall usually in October. for 2010 it's in mid-October.
