Highland Road Park Observatory

The observatory is one of the really fun gems situated in Baton Rouge. Many of our local brilliant minds do their work here but on weekends it turns to giving to the rest of the community. They have weekly astronomical viewings, tours and guided presentations. If a big meteor shower takes place there will be lots of people enjoying it at this location. There are camps and events for childrens education. Check it out.
