One of the most excellent options available to Baton Rouge residents is presence of the mens and womens basketball teams. The Pete Mavarich assembly season is a great place to enjoy a live event and games involving the Tigers are always exciting. You have 6-10 home games per month available and tickets are not that hard to get. You can often buy them at the ticket office ahead of time or from some other fans before the game.
