Anytime I'm passing through Prairieville via Airline highway I stop off at Charlie Brown's for their grilled shrimp salad. This restaurant was an early addition to the booming growth of Prairieville in to what is basically becoming an extension of South Baton Rouge. It's a very casual family atmosphere with an arcade of games for the kids in the back. Lots of TV's all around the walls for people to watch the game. They get a really good crowd for the LSU games.

Their patty melt burger is extremely good and many of my friends working in the area frequent Charlie Brown's as regulars for lunch. They have 4-5 beers on tap, several in bottles and a full bar.
