Splendido Frozen Yogurt Baton Rouge

The next stop on my recent frozen yogurt bar kick was Splendido which occupies the Highland Village Shopping Center at the corner of Lee Drive and Highland Road. It's a great strip mall also housing Wal Mart Market, Waka House and China Wok. A great stop for anyone living in the LSU area.

Walking in you have a nice light blue color on everything. It's a very cheery place which I suppose it should be since frozen yogurt is all about fun and flavor. You have 18 flavors available to choose from at any given time and dozens of fruit toppings. It's all self service. I chose the pomegranate yogurt mixed with a little Vanilla Bean yogurt. I topped it with strawberry, kiwi and cherries. The yogurt was less tart than others I had and very smooth sweet taste. It was very very good soft serve with great texture. Definitely a great stop for anyone in the LSU area looking for a sweet treat better than ice cream.
