I'd heard about Wag's for a while now. It's tough for me to get downtown but when I got a chance I thought man I should've come here sooner. You walk in to Wag's and it's a very simple layout. I suppose it's nothing fancy because with food like what I had you don't need presentation. I had a meatloaf that was just outstanding. Collard greens and green beans that were really great. The waitress was as sweet as could be and I had a really hard time going back to work.

Looking further at their menu they have a great assortment of southern creations like red beans and rice, smothered pork chops, late night breakfast, burgers, etc. I was really suprised to read that if you're looking for a late night breakfast or dinner spot after a night of partying they're there for you Thursday, Friday and Saturday!

I need to go out downtown more I guess. Wag's is awesome.
