With hurricane season coming up for 2011 and a drought going on people have been talking a lot about tree health. Coincidentally on June 4th we had a huge storm come through Baton Rouge and knock over my neighbors tree and damage mine. It was then that I realized I never got around to adding Marathon Tree service to Best of Baton Rouge. A few years back when we had our first experience looking for a true tree professional and not a fly by night type it was a little tough. We had about a half dozen people look at it all with wild prices and not so professional attitudes until we called Marathon Tree Service and met Ted Harbourt.

Marathon Tree Service is a true professional arborist. Ted Harbourt is a constant student of his craft and on every occasion I've met him he's impressed me with what he does. If you have a tree down or damaged and you want to save it or remove it from a delicate position then call Ted. He safely removed a huge limb hanging from a towering oak over my home. It was amazing how quickly and smoothly he operated. My final say on this review is Best of Baton Rouge recommends Marathon Tree Service.
